Mr. Engle provides oversight on construction activities for National’s development projects, from inception to completion. Specializing in critical path project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving, Bill’s focus on delivering projects on time and on budget supports National’s and its parent company’s success in serving its clients.
Bill has over 26 years of experience in the development and construction industries. When he joined National in 2016, he focused on overseeing the successful construction of East Market, a four-acre, multi-phased, mixed-use development in Center City, Philadelphia. Prior joining National, Bill worked as a Senior Project Manager for Dranoff Properties, managing the development and construction of a 22-story luxury condominium tower in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to that, Mr. Engle worked as Director of Development and Construction for Corporex Colorado, a real estate development firm specializing in the hospitality and office asset classes, where notable projects included a 165-room boutique five-star hotel in Denver, CO and a 249-room Hyatt Regency in Aurora, CO.
Bill spent the first 16 years of his career with general contracting firms in Philadelphia, PA and Denver, CO, focusing mostly in the pharmaceutical, biotech, institutional, multi-family, hospitality, and retail asset classes. During those years, Bill had the opportunity to work in every role from Intern to Principal to Co-Owner.
