Pete’s experience in retail planning and construction management, and his background in architecture and design help him create an exciting combination of pedestrian-oriented retail, hospitality, office, and residential spaces, often within the context of larger mixed-use projects. Pete joined National in 2016, and leads the development team on 1625 Mass Ave, a 157-unit office to residential conversion project in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC. Prior to that, Pete led development for The Noble, a 360-unit multifamily project, the first delivery of a multi-phased residential project in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties neighborhood. He was also involved in the planning of The Stacks, a 6+ acre mixed-use development in Washington, D.C. In addition, Pete led the development and implementation of the FF&E program for East Market’s Canopy by Hilton, a 236-key boutique hotel in Center City Philadelphia, and he helped to curate East Market’s retail and site activation program.
Pete began his career as a Junior Architect with Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates in New York City, and later worked in store planning with Tiffany & Co., overseeing planning and construction for new store and renovation projects, including their flagship store in Union Square, San Francisco. Prior to that, Pete worked as a Construction Project Manager for Urban Outfitters, Inc.
Pete earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
